Cops searching for man who stabbed commuter in back during argument on Bronx train

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a man who stabbed a 38-year-old man in the back during an argument on a Bronx train Sunday.

The two men started arguing on a southbound 2 train as it approached the Gun Hill Road station around 11:39 a.m., according to officials.

The unidentified man stabbed the victim in the lower back with a knife before fleeing onto the station platform.

EMS brought the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi in stable condition.
