NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD on Thursday released footage of a man and a woman wanted for swindling a victim out of $10K in Brooklyn last month, authorities said.
At approximately 2 p.m., on Sunday, December 11, the couple approached 36-year-old woman in front of 5713 5th Ave. in Bay Ridge claiming to have won the lottery.
The duo then requested assistance in collecting the winnings and asked the victim to show them she had money to ensure they can trust the victim.
The victim then hands the individuals a bag containing $10,000 in cash and in exchange they hand her another bag, officials said.
After the suspects left the location with the victim's money, the victim opened up the bag and discovers that it is filled with paper, police said.
There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.

The first suspect is described as a man with a light complexion, and approximately 45 to 55 years of age. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and black fedora hat.
The second suspect is described as a woman with a light complexion, approximately 35 to 45 years of age. She was last seen wearing a Khaki jacket, black winter hat and face is partially covered with black scarf or mask.
