Bronx resident Daquan Allen, 33, was driving a 2006 Infiniti with passengers Kesha Montez, 35, and Mahogany Robinson, 29, when he crashed while driving north on the FDR drive, authorities said.

Allen allegedly lost control of the car at East 74th Street and crashed into a concrete barrier. The car then burst into flames.

After the fire was put out by responding FDNY personnel, the two passengers were found and pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.

Allen was transferred to NY Presbyterian Hospital-Weil Cornell Medical Center in serious but stable condition and placed in police custody, police said.

On Sunday, authorities announced Allen was charged with reckless driving.

The investigation remains ongoing by the NYPD Highway District's Collision Investigation Squad.
