
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 34-year-old man was viciously attacked during an attempted robbery in the Bronx last Saturday, authorities said.

The victim was approached by unidentified males in front of 575 Castle Hill Ave. at 6:15 p.m. and was punched multiple times in the face and head. The suspects then attempted to remove the victim’s bag before fleeing on foot.
No property was taken, police said.
The victim was transported in stable condition by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi. He sustained cuts and abrasions to his head and hands.
