NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- A woman slapped away a man as he groped her on a Harlem MTA bus—only to have him and his female accomplice pummel her in front of her 5-year-old son, police said Wednesday.
The 45-year-old victim was standing on a Bx19 bus at Lenox Avenue and W. 145th Street around 8:40 a.m. on April 10 when the man grabbed her buttocks, according to police.
She slapped him away but was soon attacked by another woman who police believe was with the man.
The man and woman both punched the victim as her 5-year-old son watched, according to police.
The victim got off the bus at the next stop, while the suspects remained aboard, police said.
She refused medical attention at the scene. Her son was not injured.
