Duo sought in pair of gunpoint robberies aboard Bronx subway train

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are looking to identify two men wanted in a pair of gunpoint robberies aboard a subway train in the Bronx on Saturday.

At 3 a.m., a 44-year-old man was aboard a southbound 6 train approaching the East 143rd Street-St. Mary’s Street station in Mott Haven when he was approached by two men, officials said.

The suspects displayed a firearm and stole the victim’s wallet, cell phone and hat, police said.

A second victim, a 26-year-old man, aboard the same train car was also approached by the suspects.

They displayed a firearm and punched the victim in the face while removing his cell phone, police said.

The first suspect was last seen wearing glasses, a white t-shirt, blue jean shorts and white sneakers.

The second suspect was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, ripped blue jeans, black sneakers, a gold watch and a tattoo on his left forearm.
