
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD on Thursday released an image of two suspects wanted in a double slashing in Washington Heights last month, authorities said.
At approximately 4:11 a.m. on Sunday, March 12, a 33-year-old man and a 26-year-old man had a verbal dispute that turned into a physical altercation with an unknown man in the vicinity of 3764 Broadway.
This suspect then returned with another unidentified man, and they had a verbal dispute with both victims, officials said.
A physical altercation ensued and the first victim was slashed in his head and hands with an unknown object.
The second victim was slashed in the back and hit in the head with an unknown object, police said.
The suspects fled the location on foot, heading northbound on Broadway.
The victims were transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem in stable condition.
