Failed robbers attack man, 31, on Brooklyn subway platform

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 31-year-old man was attacked in an attempted robbery on a Brooklyn subway platform, police said Sunday.

According to police, a duo approached the victim on the L train platform at the Myrtle-Wyckoff train station on April 10 around 2:30 a.m. and attacked him before they tried to remove his wallet and shoes but failed.

The victim who had been kicked and punched received treatment at a local hospital.
