NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 3-year-old girl was critically injured after falling from a Manhattan window Sunday, police said.
The child plunged from a sixth-floor window at 420 West 26th St. in NYCHA's Chelsea Houses complex just after 11:30 a.m.
Police said the girl was rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, where she was listed in critical but stable condition.
The window did not have a window guard, which is a violation of city law. No criminality is suspected.
An investigation is ongoing.
