NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- The NYPD is looking to identify a group of suspects wanted in connection to a robbery that occurred inside a Lower East Side park earlier this week.

At approximately 7:45 p.m. on Monday, March 7, the group approached a 51-year-old man as he sat inside Corlears Hook Park in the vicinity of 397 FDR Drive, officials said.
The suspects proceeded to punch the victim and strike him in his head with an unknown object before stealing his iPhone and fleeing into 626 Water Street, cops said.
The victim was transported to Bellevue Hospital for minor injuries.
