
NEW YORK (WCBS 880) – A group of men slashed and stabbed a man on a street near Times Square early Wednesday morning, leaving the victim hospitalized, police said.

The men got into some sort of dispute with the victim at W. 42nd Street and Eighth Avenue around 5:40 a.m., according to police.
During the argument, members of the group jumped the man, who was slashed in the face and stabbed in the neck, police said.
EMS removed the victim to Bellevue Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
The suspects fled into the Times Square–42nd Street station at 44th Street and Eighth Avenue, police said.
No arrests have been reported.
