Group threatens to stab man during robbery aboard Bronx subway train

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a group of suspects wanted for threatening to stab a man during a robbery aboard a Bronx subway train, authorities said.

The robbery happened at approximately 8:20 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 3, inside the Kingsbridge Road subway station located on Jerome Avenue in Fordham Manor, the NYPD said.

According to officials, a 32-year-old man was riding on a northbound 4 train was approached one of the suspects who grabbed hold of his cellphone.

Two other suspects also approached him and threatened to stab him if he did not relinquish his property.

The suspects removed the victim's blue iPhone 12 and fled the location to parts unknown.

No injuries were reported.
