NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A would-be robber was chased off during a home invasion in Queens, police said Tuesday as they released images of the still-at-large suspect.

A 75-year-old woman was at her apartment near 51st Avenue and 90th Street in Elmhurst around 9 a.m. on Dec. 25 when a knife-wielding man stormed inside and confronted her.

The man tried to rob the woman, but he was chased out by a 69-year-old man, police said.

Images show the suspect in the apartment building around the time of the attempted robbery.

The relationship between the 75-year-old woman and 69-year-old man wasn’t clear.

No injuries were reported in the home invasion.

The suspect fled the area empty-handed, police said.
