The discovery was made Friday afternoon in a wooded area near the 79th Street Transverse behind the museum, police said.
According to NBC4, the remains were found inside a tent after a jogger alerted a Parks employee.
Cops said a medical examiner determined the remains to be human, and that it appeared to be a “natural death.”
Other information wasn’t available Friday.
