HUNTINGTON STATION, N.Y. (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) - A Suffolk County woman whose epileptic dog Bandit was stolen over a month ago is now offering $10,000, "no questions asked," to anyone who can return him.

"I just thought somebody would be more inclined to turn in a sick dog," a desperate Lisa Nguyen told 1010 WINS. "Now that we have a $10,000 reward out there, I just want to make it known."

On the night of June 21, Nguyen took her shih tzu-poodle mix out onto her front yard in Huntington Station. The dog was captured by someone driving a vehicle that police think may be a Mercury Grand Marquis.

Nguyen rescued Bandit from a shelter four years ago. Now a senior dog, Bandit requires several different medications multiple times a day - making the search for him even more urgent to his owner.

"It's been five weeks now, and I would hope that somebody would seek medical attention for him," Nguyen said.

Anyone with information on Bandit's whereabouts or condition can submit an anonymous tip to Suffolk County Crime Stoppers, at 1-800-220-TIPS, or contact them through www.P3Tips.com.
