
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 19-year-old man was discovered with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to his head at a Bronx NYCHA complex on Saturday, according to police.
Officers discovered Tristian Loran’s body at the Castle Hill Houses on Havemeyer Avenue near Randall Avenue just after 4:30 p.m.
EMS pronounced him dead at the scene.
Police described his injuries as “head trauma,” though the New York Daily News reported he was likely shot in the head.
The outlet said he had what appeared to be a bullet hole in his head, though investigators were still trying to find the bullet that killed him.
Police have not yet made any arrests, and an investigation into the apparent shooting is ongoing.
