NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are investigating the death of a man found stabbed inside the stairwell area of a Bronx residential building early Wednesday, authorities said.
At approximately 2:40 a.m., police responded to a 911 call of a person stabbed inside of 2511 Westchester Ave. in Westchester Square, officials said.
Upon arrival, officers observed 23-year-old Rodney Truss unconscious and unresponsive, with a stab wound to his right leg, the NYPD said.
EMS pronounced Truss dead at the scene.
There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
