Man, 27, dies days after being stabbed during dispute over $10 in Brooklyn

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are investigating the stabbing of a 27-year-old man who died days after he was in an argument on a Brooklyn street, authorities said.

Just before 4 a.m. on Tuesday, January 3, police responded to a 911 call of an unconscious man in front of 131 Moore St. in East Williamsburg, authorities said.

Upon arrival, officers observed Daniel Ryan, lying on the sidewalk, with stab wounds to his neck and torso.

EMS responded to the location and transported his to NYC Health & Hospitals/Elmhurst.

According to officials, the stabbing occurred following a dispute over $10.

Ryan was subsequently pronounced deceased on Friday, January 6.

There are no arrests at this time.
