
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 45-year-old woman was found dead with a stab wound at an East Harlem apartment on Thursday night, police said as they search for her killer.
Police responding to a 911 call around at 435 East 102nd St. in the East River Houses around 9:45 p.m. found the victim dead in a kitchen.
She had been stabbed in the torso and was lying face down on the kitchen floor, police said.
EMS pronounced her dead at the scene. She was identified as Lisa Epton, of East Harlem.
Her death has been deemed a homicide, police said, but no arrests have been made.
Epton lived about 20 blocks north at the Wagner Houses on East 120th Street.
Her connection to the East River Houses apartment wasn’t immediately known.
