Just after 12 p.m., a truck ran off the road near 38th Street and 8th Avenue and started the chain-reaction crash, ramming into the side of a UPS truck as the driver dodged for safety.
The UPS truck then slammed into the scaffolding, hitting another vehicle which then ran into a fourth truck, all of which was captured on surveillance video.
A 27-year-old man was caught in the middle of the chain-reaction crash and suffered a leg injury. He was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.
Construction bins were toppled over as a result of the crash.
Along with the trucks, a silver Range Rover was also hit while traveling on 38th street. Both the driver and passenger suffered no injuries.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
