
NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- A 31-year-old man was found stabbed and slashed to death in the hallway of his Brooklyn apartment building on Sunday night, police said, amid reports investigators are searching for several suspects in the killing.
The victim, Jerry Crichlow, was discovered unresponsive around 10:30 p.m. by NYPD officers responding to a 911 call at 712 Crown St. in Crown Heights.
Crichlow had been stabbed and slashed multiple times throughout the body, police said.
EMS rushed him to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County, but he was pronounced dead just before 12:30 a.m. Monday.
Police may be searching for as many as three suspects in the case, according to News 12.
The NYPD said they weren’t immediately able to confirm the number of suspects and that they’re awaiting security camera footage as the investigation continues.
