
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 34-year-old man was arrested about five hours after allegedly slashing the throat of a 55-year-old man in Manhattan on Tuesday, according to police.
Ismail Hosameldin was arguing with Maximito Polanco around 4:14 p.m. on Arden Street near Nagle Avenue in Inwood when he pulled a knife on the man and slashed his throat, officials said.
EMS pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Police took two people into custody for questioning after the attack. Hosameldin was arrested and charged with murder and weapon possession around 9 p.m.
