NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is investigating after a man was repeatedly shot and killed in the Bronx late Thursday night, authorities said.
Officers responded to the shooting at Last Stop Bar & Grill located at 4609 White Plains Rd. in Wakefield at approximately 11:53 p.m.
Upon arrival, 42-year-old Jeffrey Pierre was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso.
EMS transported Pierre to Jacobi Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
It is unclear what led to the shooting.
There are no arrests at this time and the investigation is active and ongoing.
