NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 62-year-old man was beaten and robbed in a Queens playground, police said Friday as they searched for four suspects in last month’s brazen, broad-daylight attack.
The victim was at Joseph Austin Playground in Jamaica Hills around 11:35 a.m. on Dec. 13 when four people ganged up on him.
The group punched him in the face and then stole his cellphone and car keys before fleeing the park, police said.
The victim was not seriously injured. He was treated at the scene by EMS.
The suspects were last seen fleeing on 84th Avenue, near 164th Place.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
