NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 63-year-old man was critically injured after he was hit by a car while crossing the street in Queens Friday night, authorities said.

The man was attempting to cross Broadway and 64th Street in Woodside just before 9 p.m. when he was hit by a vehicle, police said.
The driver did not remain at the scene and was last seen traveling eastbound on Broadway, according to officials.
Responding officers found the man unconscious and unresponsive lying in the street with head trauma. He was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Queens where he remains in critical condition.
No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
