NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- The NYPD released an image Wednesday of one of two men who beat up a 71-year-old man after he confronted them for backing into his car in Brooklyn.

The fender bender happened at Union Street and Sixth Avenue in Park Slope on the evening of Feb. 5, police said.

An argument over the crash turned physical when the two men started punching and kicking the victim. They also threw him to the ground before fleeing the scene, police said.

The victim was hospitalized for a broken hand and traumatic eye injuries.

The suspects fled in a 2014 Honda Accord that was last seen headed westbound on Union Street.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
