Man, 75, pushed, punched as home invader storms into Manhattan apt.

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police said a thief robbed a 75-year-old man in a violent Manhattan home invasion on Monday.

According to the police, the victim was inside his apartment near 135th Street and Fifth Avenue when the suspect approached his door around 1 p.m.

The perpetrator pushed the man, then, once inside the home, demanded money, took the victim's cellphone and wallet, and punched him twice in the face.

The individual fled the location on foot.

Police said the victim did not require medical attention.
