NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 70-year-old woman was hit and killed by an MTA bus near Union Square Park on Wednesday afternoon, according to police.
The bus hit the woman on East 13th Street near Broadway, a block away from the park, just after 1 p.m., officials said.
Emergency responders pronounced the woman dead on the scene.
Police did not arrest anyone at the scene.
