NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- An 83-year-old man was hospitalized after being pushed to the ground on the Upper West Side last week, police said.
The NYPD released images over the weekend of the suspect they’re searching for in last Wednesday’s unprovoked assault at West 61st Street and Broadway.
The victim was walking in the crosswalk when another man came up and shoved him to the pavement, police said.
He was transported to Mount Sinai West, where he was treated for a laceration to the back of his head.
The attacker fled southbound on Broadway. Police believe he’s in his 30s.
The assault came a day before a 75-year-old woman’s leg was broken when she was shoved to the ground in Harlem on Thursday.
And on Sunday, a 66-year-old man was pushed onto the tracks at a subway station in Crown Heights.
The three attacks aren’t believed to be connected.
