
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD on Thursday released an image of a group wanted for beating a man then robbing him on a Brooklyn street earlier this month.
At approximately 1:45 a.m. on Monday, June 5, a a 38-year-old man was walking in front of 161 South Elliott Pl. in Downtown Brooklyn when he was approached by six suspects, officials said.
According to police, the group repeatedly punched and kicked the victim unprovoked, before taking his cell phone and back pack.
The suspects fled northbound on South Elliott Place on foot.
The victim sustained minor injuries and refused medical attention.
