NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A Brooklyn man has been arrested after he allegedly shot and killed a man and wounded a woman Saturday night.
Gioliver Tineo, 23, was charged with attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon, police said Monday. Additional charges may be filed pending the outcome of the investigation.
Cops said gunfire rang out just before 9:30 p.m. in front of an apartment building within the private Spring Creek Gardens complex on Drew Street in East New York.
Officers found 33-year-old Delvin Diaz, who lived at the location, shot multiple times, while a 31-year-old woman suffered a graze wound to her shoulder.
EMS rushed both victims to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, where Diaz was pronounced dead.
The 31-year-old woman was listed in stable condition.
Police told 1010 WINS that a second suspect, a man in his 20s, remains at large. If arrested, he's expected to be charged with murder.
