NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police charged a man in the fatal shooting of another man in the Bronx last December, authorities announced on Thursday.
Andres Latorre, 37, was charged with murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon in the shooting death of 26-year-old Angel Cuasant, officials said.
At approximately 11:15 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 18, police responded to a 911 call of a man shot inside 2650 Briggs Ave. in Fordham Heights, the NYPD said.
Upon arrival, police observed Cuasant with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso.
EMS responded and transported Cuasant to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The investigation is ongoing.
