NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Officials charged a 44-year-old man after he allegedly confessed to the death of another man who was found stabbed multiple times in his Staten Island home last month, authorities said Monday.

Seneca Morciglio was charged with murder, assault, criminal possession of a weapon, tampering with physical evidence.

Police launched a homicide investigation after 72-year-old Eugene Reba was found dead in bed in Graniteville with multiple stab wounds on November 14.

The two men were acquaintances, but have not provided a motive for the killing, the NYPD said.

Morciglio turned himself in at the 120th Precinct stationhouse on Saturday on Saturday afternoon and allegedly confessed.
