Man driving car in Brooklyn shot in arm, group sought

NEW YORK (1001 WINS) -- Police released a photo of a group of suspects sought after a man was shot in the arm while driving a car over the weekend in Brooklyn, authorities said.

It was reported to police that on Sunday, February 19, 2023, at approximately 2:15 a.m., a group of men were walking in front of 1454 Myrtle Ave. in Bushwick when one of the suspects in the group displayed a firearm and discharged rounds at a vehicle.

A 35-year-old man driving the vehicle was struck in the right arm.

Four suspects in the group then fled in a black Toyota Camry to parts unknown.

The remaining suspects fled on foot on Myrtle Avenue.

The victim was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Woodhull and treated for his injuries.
