NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A man was killed while trying to cross the Grand Central Parkway in Queens early Sunday after he was hit by multiple vehicles, police said.
Authorities found the victim, whose identity has not yet been released, with trauma to his body in the eastbound lanes just before Exit 10 around 3:15 a.m.
While the man was hit by several vehicles, only one, a Mercedes SUV, remained on the scene, according to officials.
Emergency responders pronounced the man dead at the scene.
The investigation remains ongoing.
