Man found fatally stabbed in the Bronx, person of interest in custody

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A person was taken into custody as police investigate the stabbing death of a man in the Bronx early Tuesday morning, authorities said.

At approximately 3:17 a.m., police responded to a 911 call of a man stabbed in front of 3286 Radio Dr. in the Country Club neighborhood.

Upon arrival officers observed a 26-year-old man with multiple stab wounds to the torso.

The victim was transported by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi where he was pronounced dead.

A male person of interest was taken into custody, police said.

The investigation remains ongoing.
