VIDEO: Man inside Manhattan park bathroom robbed of chain, wallet, 2 suspects sought

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is looking to identify two suspects accused of robbing a man inside of Manhattan park bathroom earlier this month, authorities said.

At approximately 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 16, a 48-year-old man was inside of the restroom at the J. Hood Wright Park in Washington Heights when he was approached by the men.

One of the men placed an unknown object into the victim's back, and stated they had a gun.

The suspect then took the victim’s chain and wallet containing $300 cash while the second suspect stood in the doorway acting as a lookout, police said.

The suspects were last seen running southbound on Fort Washington Avenue.

The victim was uninjured.

The first suspect was last seen wearing a black hat, black jacket, camouflage pants, and black shoes.

The second suspect was last seen wearing a black hat, black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and gray sneakers.
