VIDEO: Man placed in chokehold during Queens subway station robbery, duo sought

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are looking to identify a group of suspects wanted for robbing a man inside a Queens subway station over the weekend, authorities said.

At approximately 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 18, a 46-year-old man was approached by two suspects inside the 82nd Street subway station on the northbound 7 platform in Jackson Heights, the NYPD said.

According to officials, the first suspect approached him from behind and put him in a headlock while the second suspect went through his pockets and stole his iPhone and wallet.

The suspects then fled in an unknown direction.
