The incident caught on camera, occurred around 8:30 a.m. on Nov. 19, 2020. The victim, a woman in her 40s, is seen standing by the platform waiting for a train. Aditya Vemulapati, also waiting for the train, ran up behind the woman and pushed her onto the train tracks.

She landed between the tracks before several train cars passed over her and miraculously survived with minor injuries.

She was later rescued by firefighters after an MTA worker called for help.

Another MTA worker held Vemulapati until police arrived to the scene.

Vemulapati is now charged with second-degree murder.
