NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- A man pointed a gun at a 13-year-old boy waiting for a bus in Brooklyn this week and then walked away, police said Thursday.

The boy was with a group of teens at the corner of Lorimer Street and Broadway in Williamsburg around 2:25 p.m. Tuesday when the man walked up and pulled a gun.

The man pointed the firearm at the boy and the other teens, police said.

He then left and continued walking eastbound down Broadway.

Police are investigating the incident as an act of menacing. There’s no indication he tried to rob them.
