NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are looking to identify a suspect wanted in a violent assault that happened aboard a Queens subway train last month, authorities said.
At approximately 8:45 p.m. on Sunday, March 26, a 43-year-old man was on a moving southbound F train the suspect became engaged in a verbal dispute with the suspect on the train.
As the train approached the Roosevelt Avenue-Jackson Heights station, the suspect punched the victim in the face. The suspect then proceeded to strike the victim in the face with a blunt object, the NYPD said.

The suspect detrained at the 57th Street station and fled in an unknown direction.
EMS responded and transported the aided victim to New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in stable condition.
