Man punched, robbed for e-bike in Brooklyn, 2 suspects sought

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police on Wednesday released photos of two suspects sought in a violent e-bike theft on a Brooklyn street earlier this month.

At approximately 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13, a 29-year-old man was walking in the vicinity of 7714 17th Avenue in Bensonhurst, when he was approached by the duo, officials said.

One of the suspects punched the victim in the face before both men stole his electric bicycle and wallet, authorities said.

The suspects fled the location on foot in an unknown direction.

The victim sustained a minor injury and refused medical attention on scene.
