Man shot in back while walking to car in Brooklyn, gunman sought

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police released a photo of a gunman they are looking to identify for shooting a man walking to his car on a Brooklyn street earlier this month.

It was reported to police that on April 9 at 4:10 a.m. in front of 1336 Utica Ave. in East Flatbush, a 28-year-old man was walking to his parked vehicle when the suspect discharged a firearm toward him, striking him in the back.

The suspect then fled the location on foot heading eastbound on East 49th Street.

The victim sustained a gunshot wound to his back and was transported by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County in stable condition.

The suspect was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with yellow lettering on the front and back, black pants and white sneakers.
