NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A man was slashed and an NYPD officer was injured during a fight at a Manhattan boat dock early Sunday, authorities said.
According to police, the 30-year-old victim was cut in the stomach at about 3 a.m. during a dispute at the boat dock located near the Skyport Marina at E. 23rd Street and the East River in Stuyvesant Town, police said.
The victim was taken to an area hospital in stable condition.
Police said an officer attempting to break up the fight was punched in the face.
Two people were taken into custody, but neither is the suspected slasher, according to officials.
There have been no arrests as the investigation continues.
