NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- Police released images Tuesday of a suspect in the random slashing of a woman on a Harlem street last week.
The 40-year-old victim was standing at Fifth Avenue and W. 127th Street at 8 p.m. last Thursday when she was attacked by a man in a Playboy hoodie and Yankees cap, police said.
The attacker brandished a cutting instrument and slashed her in the face before fleeing the area.
The victim was treated at the scene by EMS.
She and her attacker don't know each other, police said.
