
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a man who slashed a 37-year-old man’s neck in an East Village laundromat on Wednesday.
The attacker approached the victim from behind at the Wash Rite Laundromat on East 4th Street near First Avenue a few blocks away from Tompkins Square Park around 8:43 a.m., officials said.
He slashed his neck with an unknown object before fleeing on foot.
EMS brought the victim to Mount Sinai Beth Israel in stable condition.
