Man, 48, slashed in Harlem subway station during evening rush

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 48-year-old man was repeatedly slashed in a Harlem subway station during the Monday evening rush, police said Wednesday as they released a photo of his attacker.

The attack happened on the mezzanine level of the 125th Street station subway station on the A line.

Police said the suspect got into an argument with the victim, then slashed him in the right shoulder and abdomen with a box cutter.

The perpetrator then fled on foot to parts unknown.

Cops said the victim was rushed to NYC Health and Hospitals/Harlem in stable condition.
