Man sought for sexually abusing woman, 33, in FiDi subway station elevator

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are looking to identify a man who is wanted in connection to a sexual abuse that occurred on a Manhattan subway elevator over the weekend.

The incident happened at approximately 8:20 a.m. on Sunday, December 19, a 33-year-old woman was inside the elevator at the Fulton Street and Nassau Street subway station on the J line in the Financial District, the NYPD said.

According to officials, the suspect approached the victim and rubbed his exposed genitals onto her buttocks area over her clothing, then fled on foot to parts unknown.

There were no injuries as a result of this incident.

The suspect is described as a male, with a dark complexion, approximately 30 to 40 years of age, medium build, black hair, black facial hair, and last seen wearing a blue and black jacket, green hooded sweater, and gray pants.
