NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – The NYPD is searching for a man who they say tried to drag a 13-year-old girl out of a park in Brooklyn last week.
Police released surveillance video of the suspect on Sunday.
The girl was playing basketball at Prospect Plaza Park on Sterling Place in Brownsville on Tuesday afternoon when the man approached her from behind at 3 p.m., police said.
The man grabbed the girl and tried to lead her out of the park, according to police.
The girl’s brother yelled for help, and the man let the girl go before fleeing down Sterling Place, police said.
The girl was not physically injured, according to police.
