NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- Police are searching for a suspect in a sex attack on a woman in a Brooklyn basement last month.

The NYPD released surveillance footage Wednesday of the man they're searching for in the March 13 attack in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

The 28-year-old victim was working in the basement of a building at Myrtle Avenue and Nostrand Avenue around 8:30 a.m. when a man came up and grabbed her breast, police said.

He then pushed her to the ground and tried to pull down her pants, according to police.

The woman screamed during the attack, causing the man to run away.

The suspect was last seen fleeing on Nostrand Avenue.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
